For the fifth year in a row here is a fun meme whereby participants complete set sentences using only the titles of books read during the year. Once again we can thank Pop Culture Nerd for coming up with the sentences. Feel free to complete the meme at your own blog or in the comments
My to-do list looks like: Floundering (Romy Ash)
If a peeping Tom peeked into my bedroom, he’d: (see) The darkest little room (Patrick Holland)
If Martians meet me, they’d think: The earth hums in B-flat (Mari Strachan)
My doctor is always telling me: Roll with it (Nick Place)
The weirdest thing that happened this past week: The dance of the seagull (Andrea Camilleri)
I often daydream about: Lake country (Sean Doolittle)
The government shutdown makes me: (have) A Bitter Taste (Annie Hauxwell) Actually I only said that because I didn’t read a book called Glad I’m Not American which would be the real answer…nice to watch this particular fiasco from afar 🙂
If I win the lottery, I’d: Free Fall (Chris Grabenstein)
My superpower is: The Healer (AnttiTuomainen)
I knew I was a book lover when: Eleven days (old) (Stav Sherez)
My blogging experience has been: (an) Antidote to murder (Felicity Young)

Bernadette Oh, what fun!!!! You have wonderful answers, too. And yes, you are fortunate to have watched the shutdown from afar. I won’t get into politics in my comment, but…yes, it’s been quite an experience. I’m so excited this meme is out again. Look for mine on Wednesday..And now I have to figure out what the Martians would think about me. Not a pretty thought…

Very clever answers. I don’t have the patience (or maybe not enough books read) to do this, but I love to read the lists.

My sister calls it the “20-year to-do list.” I mentioned on COAMN blog that I feel like Sisyphus, who pushed the rock up the mountain only to have to keep falling down.
This is the to-do list syndrome — it is never shorter.
